Annie Elliot, the widow of Gilbert Elliot, built this house in 1898 for income purposes. Her husband had passed away in 1896. Joseph Seaman and his family were the first residents, and they resided here until 1904. Seaman, a Russian immigrant, was involved in the sale of dry goods. From 1910 until 1914, Adolph Heller rented the home.
