Built by 1901, this house's first residents were Ralph and Ella Harris. Ralph was a cashier for Standard Oil. By 1904, Isaac and Cora D. Van Gorder had purchased the American Foursquare house. They lived there until 1941, the year of Isaac's death. Isaac owned a millinery store. They raised two daughters, Irma and Gladys. The front porch was replaced with a front stoop in 1949.
