This house was constructed for Eda Rosencrans in 1906. Eda was a stenographer and bookkeeper for the law firm of Anderson, Park, and Crabill. She lived in the house until 1920, when she sold the property to Dr. Thomas Swantz, a physician and coroner. Dr. Swantz lived there until his death in 1934.
