George L. Hager founded the Hager Medical Company, which manufactured ready-to-use medicines, including Oak Balm and Blood and Nerve Restorative. Their goods were distributed throughout the United States and Europe. This building once served as their distribution center. Hager's residence can be found just around the corner at 415 W. Wayne Street.
