Local developers Whitcomb and Keller built this house in 1920 for rental purposes. It was sold later that year to Elsie and Curtis Woods. Mr. Woods was the branch manager for Mutual Plate Glass Insurance Company. They resided there until 1946, when the property was sold to Charles and Lena Roth. Mr. Roth was a grocery store owner.
