Local developers Whitcomb and Keller constructed this house in 1924 and rented it to George Ahlborn, power superintendent for Studebaker Corporation. During that same year, Fayetta F. Ruff bought the property. She was a teacher at Central Junior High School. Fayetta lived there with her sister until 1938.
