Whitcomb and Keller built this house in 1948 for Benson and Elsie Ball. Mr. Ball was employed as by Indiana and Michigan Electric Company, as a division manager. They resided in the house until 1950, when it was sold to Indiana Franklin Realty, Inc. who used it as a rental property for the next fifteen years.
