Whitcomb and Keller built this house in 1925 and it was sold to Cornelius and Alta Morris. Mr. Morris was the sales manager at the O'Brien Varnish Company. A sheriff's sale was held in 1934 and the property was bought by the Equitable Life Assurance Society. They sold the house in 1940 to George V. Craighead.
