In 1939 the original house on this lot was torn down. By the mid-1940s the land was owned by John H. McLean, who built this existing ranch-style house in 1949. He lived there until 1953 when he sold it to Sylvester Kaminski, co-founder of Kaminski-Mooren Fruit Co., and Kaminski Bros. Real Estate Corporation.
