This H. R. Stapp-designed, Whitcomb and Keller-built home was constructed in 1929 and rented in 1930 to Frank and Frances Marsh. He was a district agent for Bankers Life Company. They resided there until 1933, when the home was purchased by Elliott and Madelon Shidler Olney. Mr.Olney was employed by Shidler Brothers Manufacturing Company as a buyer, and later was president of the furniture manufacturer.
