Whitcomb and Keller constructed this house in 1925, and in 1927 it sold it to Anton W. and Ruth Peterson. Anton, a local businessman, was president of Peterson Battery and Ignition Company. Ruth Peterson was a nurse and director of the Nurse's Registry for St. Joseph County.
