Whitcomb and Keller built this house in 1929 and rented it to Robert and Margaret Knoblock. Robert Knoblock was the general sales manager with the Pequonac Rubber Company of Pennsylvania. They lived there until 1933, when the house was sold to Ted and Irene Nicar. The Nicars resided there until 1942, when the property was purchased by John Leslie and Alma Sailors. Mr. Sailors was co-founder of Sailors Brothers Furniture Company.
