The pastor of the First Brethren Church, Arthur T. Wirick, had this home built in 1909. It was sold to Dr. Milton P. White, a retired physician, in 1911. It was then purchased by Donald A. Himes, manager of the export division at the Oliver Corporation. He owned the property until 1946.
