Built for rental purposes by real estate developer Fred W. Keller in 1909, this house sold in 1911 to Ira Jay and Frances Miller. Mr. Miller, a plumber, and his wife, lived in the house until 1913, then rented out the house from 1914 to 1920. It was then purchased by Courtland P. DuComb.
