Real estate developer Fred W. Keller built this house in 1904, and sold it to Carlin S. Handley, a partner in Handley and Pyle, attorneys and collectors. Mr. Handley lived there until 1909, when he sold the property back to Fred Keller. It was then purchased by Fred Kagel, and his wife, Lulu.
