Iden Romig, a lawyer and insurance agent, built this house in 1909 as an investment property. He sold it shortly thereafter to Margaret Gish. Margaret lived in the house into the 1920s. Her son Walter, daughter Shirley Gish Taylor, son-in-law D. Taylor, and granddaughter Maria Taylor also lived in this American Foursquare family home.
