This structure was designed by the architectural firm of Freyermuth and Maurer for Samuel Lippman in 1916. Lippman owned the Lippman Leather Store located at 122 East Jefferson Street. The Lippman family sold the house to Daniel Cashman, a restaurateur, in 1929. Cashman sold the Colonial Revival house to the American Red Cross in 1945. It has since been used as office space and a children's nursery.
