This house was built for Swedish immigrant Carl Anderson and his wife Caroline (Carrie) between 1901 and 1903. Carl was a tailor whose shop was located at 119 West Washington. The Andersons sold the Shingle Style house to John and Caroline Parker by 1919. Parker emigrated from Hungary and was also a tailor.
