W.W. Schneider designed this home between 1911 and 1914 for Mrs. Winona Dodd. Mrs. Dodd, the widow of Edwin Dodd, is listed as the principal owner and resident in 1914. She resided here into the late 1920s and converted the Colonial Revival home into a duplex. By 1930, Dr. Harriet L. Lindt, a physician, was living in this house.
