Built between 1904 and 1906, John and Martha Zimmer were the first owners of this American Foursquare house. John was a wood worker and carpenter. Both had emigrated from Germany. After 1910, the house became an investment property for Louis Rockstroh. Walter and Mildred Harter rented the house from 1914 into the 1920s.
