This house was constructed in 1904 by Charles Hicks, who sold it to William Moschell in 1907. Mr. Moschell was associated with the Vernon Clothing Company and was a prominent and active member of the community. In 1910, Mr. Moschell transferred the house over to his wife, Anna Eliza.
