In 1925, the South Bend-based architects Austin and Shambleau designed this Tudor Revival style house for Nelson S. Bowsher, the grandson of industrialist N.P. Bowsher. The house may actually be a completely rehabbed older Stick Style house. It presently exists as a two-story clapboard house with a gable roof, with hip front and intersecting gable hip dormers with casement windows. The first floor has fixed transoms over casement windows.
