<739 West Washington>
- Date: 1923
- Style: Italian Renaissance Revival The John Gergacz House
- Architect: Freyermuth & Maurer
- District: West Washington
- Rating: Outstanding
Architects Freyermuth and Maurer designed this stately home for the John Gergacz family in 1923. The Renaissance Revival looked to the European villas built at or near the time of the Renaissance for inspiration. The symmetrical organization of the home, and its hipped roof with wide overhand, denote an Italian influence here. The home was still in the family in 1986.
