The stately home of Clem Studebaker and his family was designed by Henry Ives Cobb and built by Christopher Fassnacht. The 26,000 square foot house was nealy lost in 1889 when a fire broke out. The home was saved and the damaged repaired. Today the Studebaker Home is the Tippecanoe Place Restaurant.
