This 1926 Whitcomb and Keller-constructed, Stapp-designed house was sold in 1927 to Vera H. Clauer. She was the manager of the Calvin Clauer Company, a jewelry and diamond merchant. The house was used as rental property until 1934, when it was sold back to Whitcomb and Keller.
