Designed by H. R. StappĀ and built by Whitcomb and Keller in 1928, this house was used as a rental property. From 1929-1934, it was rented to Merritt and Mary Pharo. Merritt Pharo was the chief inspector at Studebaker Corporation. The house continued to be a rental until 1945, when it was sold to Charles and Valentine Bullard. Mr. Bullard was president of Charles E. Bullard Company, a real estate business.
