This H. R. Stapp-designed, Whitcomb and Keller-built home was constructed in 1925. In 1926 it was purchased by Gordon and Ruth Marshall. Mr. Marshall was the vice president of Motor Discount Inc. The property was sold in 1930 to restaurant owners Gottlieb and Margaret Raissle.
