Whitcomb and Keller built this H. R. Stapp-designed house in 1926. The following year, it was sold to Hobart and Harriett Marshall. Hobart Marshall operated an investment securities business in South Bend. In 1941, the home was bought by Eli Seebirt and his wife, Elizabeth.
