Edmund and Minnie Slick built this Renaissance Revival house in 1926. Mr. Slick was president of Slick's Laundry and Dry Cleaning Company, as well as owner of Slick's Engraving Company. After his death in 1939, the house was left to his second wife, Sarah. In 1945, Sarah sold it to Roach-Appleton Manufacturing manager Kenneth Bolesky and his wife Mildred.
