Attorney Ralph E. Jones and his wife, Elouise had this home built in 1956. They lived there until 1958, when it was purchased by Richard and Lois Shoupe. Richard was employed by I&M as a hydro attendant. A year later, they sold it to Loran L. and Florence Taylor. Dr. Taylor was a physician at South Bend Osteopathic Hospital.
