Elden R. Bowden, an assistant purchasing agent for the Studebaker Corporation, and his wife, Mary, had this home built in 1939. They lived there until 1944, when it was bought by William and Viola Anderson. Mr. Anderson was an accountant for General Liquors, Inc. In 1947, the property was then sold to Albert L. Flack and his wife Virginia. Mr. Flack was vice president of Flack Cigar Company.
