This house was constructed by Whitcomb and Keller and designed by H.R. Stapp in 1929. It was purchased in 1930 by John and Helen Mahoney. At the time, Mr. Mahoney was executive vice president and general manager of Bendix Brake Products Corp., and later became vice president of manufacturing at Bendix. The Mahoneys lived there until 1938, when it was bought by Barney and Ida Sandock.
