McErlain House

Constructed in 1925 by Whitcomb and Keller, this was one of the first houses built in Sunnymede. It was purchased in 1926 by Ernest J. and Effie L. McErlain. Ernest was a co-founder of the Builders Supply Co., the original organizer of the Indiana Trust Co., the director and vice president of the First Federal Savings and Loan, and, at one time, the city comptroller.
