Whitcomb and Keller built this H.R. Stapp-designed house in 1927 and sold it to Harry and Rosalind Denny that same year. Mr. Denny was an attorney who used the house as a rental until 1934, when it was sold to Julius A. and Velma Simon. Mr. Simon was the treasurer for Simon Brothers, Inc., a wholesale grocery company.
