This house was built in 1891 for William and Francis Geltz. William was a real estate agent and clerk at Frankel's. In 1903, Frederick and Minna Teuscher purchased the Queen Anne house. He was a Swiss immigrant and a salesman of stationary products. By 1920, James and Anna Proud had purchased the home from the Teuschers.
