The Harry S. Badat House is an outstanding example of the Shingle style of architecture and was designed by South Bend architects Austin and Shambleau in 1907. It was originally located at 433 N. Lafayette and moved to its present location in 1975. HarryBadet was treasurer of the South Bend Toy Company.
