Local developers Whitcomb and Keller built this home in 1920 and sold it to the Citizens Trust and Savings Bank later that year. The house was used as rental property until 1926, when it was purchased by Dr. Frank Powers and his wife, Ada. Dr. Powers was the attending physician for the University of Notre Dame. They resided here until 1932, when the house was sold to Lillie Richman, a teacher at Nuner School.
