Constructed in 1923, this house was built by Whitcomb and Keller for John and Augusta Anderson. A pattern maker by trade, Mr. Anderson was a Swedish immigrant, arriving in South Bend in 1888. They lived in the house until their deaths, Augusta in 1924, and John in 1948.
