In 1920, Whitcomb and Keller built this home, and sold it in 1921 to Charles and Florence Pommert. Charles was the manager of the Pythian Building in South Bend, and a co-owner of the barber shop in the Jefferson Hotel. Charles Pommert died in 1945 and his wife resided here until 1947.
