The Rose Morey Lamport House is a magnificent Queen Anne that includes a stained glass window that won a gold medal at the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago. It was purchased by a Dr. Morey, who was married to Frances Helen Rose, a descendant of the original property owners. The property remained in the Rose family from 1851 to 1967 or 1968.
